Dr. Sam Jejurikar is an experienced plastic surgeon that is part of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Dr. Jejurikar is based in Texas in Dallas which is where his firm is at. Dr. Sam Jejurikar has worked for years as a plastic surgeon, and over the years he has gained mastery in the art. Dr. Jejurikar is certified and is well known for his extensive work when it comes to cosmetic surgery. Dr. Sam Jejurikar went to the University of Minnesota where he completed his medical degree. He completed this and went to Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat clinic to finish his studies. Dr. Saad Saad was given birth to in Palestine, brought up in Kuwait among eight siblings and married in 1976 and had four children. In the year 1971, 47 years ago, in Egypt’s Cairo University, he attained a medical degree, ranking second in his class.


He then proceeded to England for an internship, migrating to the US in 1973 where he did his Surgery and Pediatric Surgery residency. In the 1980s, he got an opportunity to work in Saudi Royal as a personal pediatric surgeon. Since he was the only pediatric surgeon certified by the US board and spoke both Arabic and English fluently, he landed on the opportunity.


Dr. Saad Saad lived with his family in the City of Riyadh, Saudi, where he experienced a definite adventure. Here, he worked at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital, performing surgeries.During his stay there, he was able to perform pediatric surgery on the youngest child admitted with an aneurysm, saving its life. To educate others, he ensured publishing of the details within the world-class scientific journal. His opinions on whether to conduct surgery at the hospital or refer the patient to hospitals abroad were highly respected.


Despite the fact that the hospital primarily served Saudi Arabia’s Royal Family, others from Bahrain, UAE, and Gulf of Persia went as well as the poor who had complex pediatric surgery issues.


Dr. Saad Saad came from a poor background and mentored by Dr. H Biemann Othersen, in Charleston, who taught the principle of equality and equal opportunities for people. Through him, he learned the art of kindness, honesty, hard work and lack of discrimination. While in the US, he not only worked for his community but also aided young adults and children in the Holy Land, through Medical Missions in the US, West Bank, and Jerusalem.


Dr. Saad Saad always sought to improve the traditional methods and procedures, as a physician, by challenging the field to reduce the pain and risks faced by his patients. As a result, he developed new methods in pediatric surgery and patented two inventions. Learn more:


Dr. Saad Saad designed a device that assists in the location of a catheter within the body, without the use of a scanning machine. He then created an endoscope that comprised of suction for removing fluid to enhance a better view for surgeons. These inventions increased performance by making surgeries faster and safer, curbing complications.


Dr. Saad Saad not only performed his duties but also helped in establishing a Surgical Residency Program, through working connections and approving England’s Royal College of Surgeons, for students in Saudi Arabia to receive certification from the UK.
